Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Jobsift collects, why, who else sees it, and how you get it deleted. Jobsift is run by Ninad Joshi, who is responsible for your data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We read the text of your CV and don't keep the file you upload. We never see your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay handles those.

2. Who else handles your data

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the services that help run Jobsift:

Some of these services may store data outside India. Your CV and details are never shown to employers or recruiters. You decide where to apply.

3. Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in. We also use the Meta pixel to measure our ads. You can turn it off any time with "Opt out of ad tracking" at the bottom of every page. You can block cookies in your browser. You'll need to sign in again each visit if you do.

4. How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. When you do, we erase your email, phone, name, CV, searches, matches and the CVs we wrote for you. We keep payment and refund records only as long as tax law requires. We also keep anonymous usage data, such as how people move through the site and what they click, with nothing that can identify you. We use it to improve our matching.

6. Keeping it safe

The site runs on encrypted connections (https). Access to stored data is limited to Jobsift. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

7. Age

Jobsift is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
